Celebrating the College Application Journey at Leaders High School


News 12 Brooklyn featured our seniors as they celebrated an important milestone, completing their college applications.


The story highlights how our students joined thousands of seniors across the country in recognizing the hard work that goes into preparing for life after high school. Our students and staff came together for a special march to celebrate the completion of the college application process.


For our seniors, completing college applications is about more than submitting forms. It represents months of planning, writing, researching schools, meeting deadlines, and thinking carefully about what comes next. The celebration gave our students a chance to recognize how far they had come and to look forward to the next step in their education.


News 12 also spoke with our students and staff about their college application journey and where students were hoping to continue their education. The feature shows the excitement, pride, and sense of accomplishment that comes with reaching this important point during senior year.


At Leaders High School, we work to make sure students are prepared for life after graduation. That includes helping them explore their options, complete the college application process, and make decisions that support their future goals.
