Support for school, life and next steps
Students need different kinds of support at different points in high school. Leaders combines long-term relationships through Crew with dedicated college support and school-based counseling resources.
Counseling and student support

Crew gives every student a consistent advisory relationship across high school. Leaders' own materials describe Crew as supporting reflection, character and leadership development, social-emotional growth and communication with families.
For postsecondary planning, Leaders provides a full-time college counselor and dedicated college office. That support is important enough to receive its own College Planning page, while this page should help students understand the broader support system and how to ask for help.
NYC Public Schools' current Leaders profile advises families to contact their Parent Coordinator, school social worker or school counselor for information about the school's mental-health program. Jenny Rivera is currently listed as Parent Coordinator.
Because current public sources do not identify Leaders' full counseling or social-work staff, the website should not yet publish a detailed list of services or imply clinical capabilities that have not been verified.
